LONDON JOURNAL VOL.1

It’s been a long time since I wrote anything for the blog, and I’ll tell you about it soon, but today I wanted to share all the bits & pieces that happened in November.

Life has been challenging both personally and professionally, but by digging deeper and deeper in my relationships (either with others or myself) new discoveries have been made, untouched levels have been reached and fresh energies have been released creating brand new waves in my life. Apart from personal development the other significant step is starting a diet called the Hashimoto’s Protocol based on Dr. Izabella Wentz’s book. I have already completed the liver protocol part, currently I’m working my way through the 6 week adrenal protocol, which focuses on resting, de-stressing, reducing inflammation, balancing the blood sugar and replenishing nutrients. Based on my up-to-date blood test results my GP suggested to reduce my thyroid medication for a while and then repeat the tests again, so I’m hoping it is a sign of improvement and not just a temporary hormonal gig of my body.

But, to talk about something more glam, I went to the Stylist Live event at Kensington Olympia and I loved it – got a manicure, discovered several organic independent food and beauty brands and just a brag a little I met Anna Whitehouse aka Mother Pukka, whom I’ve been industriously “stalking” on Instagram for a while. She was actually the reason I went to this event in the first place. Anna is just as hilarious and sarcastic in real life as online. Obviously, I couldn’t resist but ask her for a selfie (so lame) which I will treasure for the rest of my life, haha (my precious…I might place it onto the mantel next to a wedding picture)!

Another highly inspirational woman I met is Emma Gannon, who’s book, Ctrl Alt Delete: How I grew up online, has given me a new and more relaxed perspective on my blog, my online presence, hence writing again.

What else is there… Oh, yes! At the Design Centre Chelsea Harbour I had the chance to meet Megan Hess, a fashion artist, who’s new book is gorgeous and who, btw, illustrated Candace Bushnell’s original Sex & The City book.

Paperchase invited me for their new collection launch – see the images further below with the cute doggies. There’s lot of glitter and unicorns coming up in store…

On a more technical note, I’ve been cleaning and updating my blog – please have a look at my new coaching page and tell me your opinion. Also, if you know anything about setting up sales funnels online (all the itty gritty bits of it), please get in touch, I desperately need you.

Other experiences I wanted to share was dining at Ottolenghi’s Spitalfields restaurant, where they really stretched out of their comfort zone just to accommodate my special diet. I’ve tried several (new to me) products, such as a black mask from Oliver Bonas, which honestly removed more facial hair than blackheads (as it’d promised), but left my skin super smooth; a BPA free eco-friendly infuser bottle  that has a charcoal filter to make tap water taste great by Black+Blum Design, which comes handy to anyone living with an autoimmune condition (you can see my video on it on my FB page and Insta stories) and I finally got back my fancy vintage (but not used) Dior glasses from general Eyewear. Oh, almost forgot, I posted a very honest and transparent body related post on my Instagram feed, you can still read it there, it is about self-love and acceptance.

And, here some images to give you a feel of my month:
