LONDON LIFE

ENG: I came back to London at the beginning of January, and since then I’ve been extra busy blogging and attending events. My favourites were the Lumiere London, which was an incredible light installation festival across the city, the Book Art Project event in Kensington and London Collections: Men, where I met Oliver Proudlock (OMG).

London can be super exciting, however it has an ugly face as well, especially the underground during peak hours, when you are actually standing underneath someone armpits, who is breathing into your face, squashed like tuna in a can.

The Lumiere London is a brand new initiative, where various light installations are spread over the city center and lit in the evening. We literally bummed into it at Piccadilly, where the whole street up to Green Park station was closed, allowing pedestrians to walk on the road, enjoying London from a unique point of view. My fave was a colorful projection on one of the buildings while classical music was on. It was magical!

The private view of the Book Art Project was held in Kensington, at the Baglioni Hotel, where we had some champagne, then walked back to the city center in the middle of the night. The concept of the project was based on a book, read by 12 different artists, who then inspired by the story created a piece of art, which became the cover. So, the same book now has 12 different covers, offered for sale and part of it for charity.

The London Collections Men took part right after we came back, and I managed to get some last minute tickets. It was raining cats and dogs, but we set off anyway, ending up in a cue in the pouring rain. The first person I spotted after getting in was Oliver Proudlock, with whom I took a selfie after the show. As usually, when accidentally meeting some famous people I was all “blablabla”, but he was super cool, and handled my awkwardness as a gentleman.

Apart from these 3 experiences there was another event, the First Willpower Work Out in the world organized by Whitworths, which I’m gonna share with you soon. I know it sounds weird, but it was great, and I learned a lot about willpower.

So, darlinghearts, tell me about your month! How have you been? Have you ever been to London?

HU: Amiota januar elejen visszajottunk Londonba porog az elet, a munka mellett rengeteg idot forditok a blogra es sok esemenyen is resztvettem a honap soran.

Sikerult par last minute jegyet szereznem, s bar zuhogo eso volt aznap, bementunk a kozpontba megnezni egy-ket divatbemutatot.

Szoval, diohejban ennyi a januari hetekrol. Nektek hogy telt a honap, lanyok? Voltatok mar Londonban?
