10 REASONS WHY A MARRIED WOMAN MIGHT SAY NO TO ANOTHER MAN

I’ve been reading the Kama Sutra lately, a book linking pleasure and virtue, a manual for lovemaking, and an inspiring spiritual text. Sometimes it makes me smile, sometimes it makes me go like “wow, wait a minute, what do you mean”, other times it makes me reflect on life. It depicts sexuality in its every aspect, regarding carnality as a divine attribute of one’s path. Here’s a section I found interesting and perhaps a little bizarre at first sight, then I realized that this book is actually meant to analyze and act like a marital aid. It is more contemporary than you might believe it is. Originally there are 24 reasons why a married woman might turn down the advances of another man. I picked 10 of them, which are mentioned of Deepak Chopra’s re-interpretation of the Kama Sutra. The images are from the April’s edition of Vogue Australia – I thought they go well with the nature of this post. THE 10 REASONS:

  1. She still has affection for her husband
  2. She wants her children to be born in wedlock
  3. She lacks the right opportunity
  4. She feels offended by the man coming on too familiarly
  5. She thinks she is above or below the man socially
  6. She fears that he will run away
  7. She thinks that he is too attached to his male friends
  8. She suspects that his intentions aren’t serious
  9. She fears they will be discovered
  10. She just wants to remain friends

QUESTION: WHAT WOULD BE YOUR REASON?

  1. Interesting:) I’ve read kama sutra some time ago, it was a pleasant and sometimes funny read…and yes relevant today as well…for sure.

  2. Ah, the photos are so breat! 🙂
The sensual education what Kama Sutra gave me, was way beyond my expectation, I have to admit. I thought it would never give me what it actually did. The way it describes, the using of the mind and the soul in the enjoyment of the five senses is makes the whole book more much than an exclusive “sex manual” to me. And yeees! I had those “wow, wait a minute” moments. 🙂

    p.s : You got my vote 😉

  3. I like this post. (Found you from the FaceBook SITS Group 5 Page) I have not read it, and I think because of this, it will got on my read list. Thank you so much!!
